Description
Originally manufactured by General Electric, the VB-13.8-1000 3800 A vacuum circuit breaker has a stored energy, electrically operated ML-17 operating mechanism. The featured breaker model is particularly special because it has a 4200 A rating when forced-air cooling is used in the switchgear cell. The equipment was sent to our facility to be fully reconditioned for a local 238 MW oil-fired power station in May 2025. While applying our full reconditioning services, Circuit Breaker Sales also replaced the original “pinch-tube” 43A7 vacuum interrupters with brand new, current production RVI-43A7 vacuum bottles.
