Description
The General Electric AM-13.8-500 1200 A and 2000 A, 6-Stud, manually operated ground and test device (G&T) is designed to be inserted into GE type AM-Magneblast 15 kV 500 MVA switchgear. This model can be inserted into either 1200 A or 2000 A switchgear by screwing in the 2000 A adapters that are affixed to the front of the device for ease of access.
The AM-13.8-500-1200/2000 G&T device provides operators with barriered access to the switchgear side primary disconnects to ground the primary circuits or to carry out other testing procedures.
