Circuit Breaker Sales Names Fred Dotson Field Service Manager in Florida

Gainesville, TX, January 18, 2019 — Circuit Breaker Sales, Inc. (CBS), a specialist in the sales and service of low- and medium-voltage circuit breakers and other power distribution equipment, is pleased to introduce Fred Dotson as its new field service manager based in Lakeland, FL.

In his new role, Dotson will manage CBS’s rapidly growing Lakeland service team, which serves customers throughout Florida and the islands, as well as the southern counties of Alabama and Georgia. In addition to supporting sales, he will be primarily responsible for maintaining the company’s high standard for repair, remanufacture, and reconditioning of electrical circuit breakers, switchgear, protective relays, power transformers, and other equipment.

“Accelerating growth in the Southeast’s manufacturing and power infrastructure is driving new demand and opportunities for CBS’ services,” Dotson says. “I look forward to working with the Lakeland team to ensure that current customers receive the consistently excellent service they’ve come to expect and to capitalize on new opportunities to expand our business and capabilities.”

Dotson brings nearly three decades of management experience in electrical repair, maintenance, and service. He began his career as an E&I superintendent and project engineer for Graphic Packaging International before accepting employment as a branch manager for Allied Reliability. Most recently, he managed the technical field service department at Tampa Armature Works, Inc., for 13 years.

“Fred brings the right mix of technical expertise, team leadership skills, and dedication to customer service just as Group CBS is expanding its resources to meet the fast-growing demand for our services in the Florida region,” says Tim Brewer, president of Circuit Breaker Sales. “Backed by the company’s unmatched equipment inventory and the engineering and service capabilities of our affiliates, we are confident Fred and the Lakeland team will become the dependable partner that electrical customers in the Southeast deserve.”

Circuit Breaker Sales Opens Detroit Apparatus Service Center

Denise Green, Detroit Apparatus Service CenterGainesville, TX, September 26, 2018 — Circuit Breaker Sales Co., Inc. (CBS), a specialist in the sales and service of low- and medium-voltage circuit breakers and other power distribution equipment, announces the opening of its newest Midwest service center in Detroit. The facility, known as the CBS Detroit Apparatus Service Center, specializes in the repair, remanufacture, and life extension of low- and medium-voltage switchgear and circuit breakers. The facility also provides on-site breaker support and emergency on-call services.

The service center will be managed by Denise Green, an industry veteran with 29 years of experience overseeing field-service activities and breaker shops. “The CBS Detroit Apparatus Service Center allows customers in the utility, automotive, and other industrial and commercial markets to keep their electrical equipment closer to home, rather than having to ship it across the country for repair or upgrade,” Green says.
